1) BAL REVIVAL - BALBOA CLASSES & SOCIAL DANCING
Bal Revival is on as usual tomorrow night. This week is the first Tuesday of the month, so we're starting a new cycle for the beginners class. These beginners' classes run in a monthly cycle, with each week building on the material learnt in the previous weeks that month. Absolute beginners will therefore find it easier to start on the first Tuesday of the month, when we assume no prior knowledge at all.
This month we will focus on Out-and-Ins. Out-and-In is one of the principle techniques used in Bal-Swing. It is often misunderstood amongst the modern Balboa community so this month's series is a good opportunity to learn this technique, either from scratch or to improve your existing knowledge and understanding. Over the course of the month we will build up from the fundamental technique and introduce variations, improvisations and further dynamics to help make your Bal-Swing more fluid and enjoyable.
Timings for the night are:
7.30 - 8.20pm Beginners Balboa class
8.30 - 9.20pm Intermediate Balboa class
9.30 - 11pm Social dancing
Price: £8 gets you either one or both classes.
FREE ENTRY for the social dancing after 9.30pm.
