1) SWING AT THE PILOT - BALBOA CLASSES & SOCIAL DANCING
This week is the first Tuesday of the month to we're starting a new cycle for the beginners class. These beginners' classes run in a monthly cycle, with each week building on the material learnt in the previous weeks that month. Absolute beginners will therefore find it easier to start on the first Tuesday of the month, when we assume no prior knowledge at all.
Remember, we've moved to a new venue on Tuesday evenings. The Pilot is a lovely venue with a great atmosphere where you can relax with drinks and pub food available throughout the evening. Their function room has a nice wooden floor for dancing. There is free social dancing after 9.30pm which, as always, is open to anyone and all styles of swing dancing.
The details for the night are:
7.30 - 8.20pm Beginners Balboa class
8.30 - 9.20pm Intermediate Balboa class
9.30 - 11pm Social dancing
Price: £8 gets you either one or both classes.
FREE ENTRY for the social dancing after 9.30pm.
Note: We are in the separate function room building. Walk through the bar and into the rear garden to find it.

2) CHRISTMAS DINNER DANCE PARTY - 9th DECEMBER
Our last Swing at the Pilot before Christmas will be on Tuesday 9th December. We are having a sit-down Christmas meal followed by a social dance in place of the usual classes. Please note that you must book and pay in advance for the meal. Entry to the social dance is free and is open to everyone from any kind of swing dance.
Date: Tuesday 9th December
Time: Arrive from 7.30pm for dinner at 8pm. Social dancing from around 9:30 to 11pm
PRICES

BOOKINGS
Please email us to book your place for the meal. We will then confirm your place, menu choice, and arrange payment. If you just want to join us for the social dancing after the meal then there's no need to book - just turn up on the night.
